Visiting the Mae Deli

Its been on my list of places to visit for a very long time and I’m pleased to say it was well worth the wait!

My order:

Cold salad bowl with:

  • Squash & Summer Veg quinoa
  • Asian Style Broccoli with Bok Choi
  • Spiced Peanut Sweet Potatoes
  • Sun Dried Tomato Falafel
  • Lemony Butter Bean Hummus

Green Glow Freshly Made Smoothie

Cacao & Almond Energy Ball

The food was so tasty, best houmous I’ve ever had had! Maybe sitting and eating it in Hyde Park made it taste even fresher! In hind sight instead of the smoothie the Matcha iced tea may have been a better option, where else can you find that? It would’ve been cheaper too! Needless to say is was the best green smoothie possible!! The takeaway pot was filled with amazing food, unbelievably tasty and surprisingly filling too. (I had enough left to take home and finish the next day).

It would probably be fair to say without my sister and google maps we wouldn’t have made it. From Marble Arch underground we had about a 5 minute walk to the deli and another 5 minute walk to Hyde Park. It was so lovely to eat in the park especially with how hectic it is inside the cafĂ©, I will definitely be back as soon as I can and definitely try tasting more of Ella Woodward’s incredible menu! I can’t wait for her new deli to open and try that too!!

If you want to go, go! You won’t regret it.
